UDICO Holdings: patent portfolio
Overview
The Udico software Patent Portfolio consists of four patents and one published application, the original idea for which was conceived and authored in 1992; all five were filed in 1996 and then progressively issued beginning in 1998. The patents, which have been cited in numerous subsequent patent filings, are network, database, keyword, and keyword phrasing associative that perform across multiple categories and industry silos; i.e. intelligent search database, targeted advertising, precision advertising and intelligent search. The patents are very applicable in today’s marketplace, even more so than when they were initially granted, because they took into consideration the expansion and speed of the Internet, the enormous growth in storage and computing capabilities, and the need to smartly interconnect keyword searches to both broad and refined matching of information to the needs of the user.
The patents drove a design, development and deployment of a complementary collection of intelligent search and search management technology at the time of conception in 1992 and filing in 1996. The Udico technology can easily be layered and dynamically added on to any search engine or like offering; either consumer, commercial or corporate offerings whether driven over the Internet, internal LAN or PC as collectively deployed, the Udico technology and patents provide a search engine aggregator the ability to obtain exclusively the following benefits due to their identified and issued ownership of:
-
Real-time generated synopsis and contextual abstracts
-
Real-time keyword and key-phrase associative data analytics
-
Real-time generated links to targeted advertising, precision advertising and intelligent search management
-
Real-time generated concept index with context concentration enabling relevance recognition.
-
Real-time generated word index
-
Multiple-core multi-threaded processing
-
Embedded action
Applicable markets where software technology that implements the methods of these patents and that would benefit exceptionally well are:
